Helping your child grow in confidence, creativity and communication

High-quality Performing Arts classes — designed to inspire confidence, stretch creativity and bring out every child’s potential.

Because every Parent wants their Child to feel confident and heard

As parents, we all want our children to feel confident — to speak clearly, try new things and believe in themselves. At Lemon Jelly, we make that possible through uplifting, professionally taught drama, dance and LAMDA programmes.
No overwhelming pressure. No “stage-school attitude”. Just expert teaching, exciting activities and plenty of small wins that build real confidence over time.
If you’re looking for something that boosts your child’s happiness and their life skills, you’ll feel right at home here.

Children today face a world full of pressure, school expectations, social comparison and limited chances to practise real-life communication skills

Expert-Led, Child-Focused

Our classes are taught by experienced theatre professionals who know how to bring out the best in every child, not just the loudest or the most confident. We combine high-quality technique with genuine care, ensuring every child feels seen, supported and encouraged.

Confidence First, Stage Second

We’re not here for perfection or pressure. Our focus is building confidence, communication and self-belief that last long after class ends. Whether it’s LAMDA exams, weekly sessions or intensive courses, children learn in a nurturing environment where progress is celebrated at every level.

Meaningful Experiences, Not Just Activities

Our holiday workshops, performance courses and LAMDA programmes are thoughtfully designed to give children real performing opportunities & skill-building moments. Everything we do has purpose, structure and the goal of helping children grow.

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN SIGN UP TO

Weekly Classes

Our weekly classes give children steady, structured training that builds their confidence, creativity and performance skills over time. With regular practice, supportive teaching and a familiar group, children feel safe to take risks, try new techniques and grow at their own pace. It’s consistent, high-quality Performing Arts training that strengthens communication, teamwork and self-belief week after week. We get involved in some amazing, collaborative productions. Our recent one was at the Nevill Holt Festival 2025.

Holiday workshops

Our holiday workshops are designed to give children an exciting, creative boost outside the school term. Through fun, fast-paced drama, dance and performance activities, they make new friends, learn new skills and experience the joy of working as a team. Each workshop is planned with purpose, so while children feel like they’re having the best time, they’re also building confidence, resilience and a love for Performing Arts that lasts long after the holidays end.

LAMDA

LAMDA 1:1 sessions and our intensive workshops offer focused, personalised training that helps children sharpen their speaking skills, improve clarity and develop real confidence in communication. Whether preparing for an exam or wanting a deeper challenge, these sessions give children targeted support, clear progression and the chance to achieve recognised qualifications, all delivered in a nurturing, encouraging environment.

No, is our short answer. With very little ones, we will work woth you to help them to get settled but parents in the class often cause more disruption for other children. All of our classes have window panels for you to peep and have a look.

My child has additional learning needs, can they participate?

Yes! Absolutely. We should always be aware of any additional learning needs at the time of booking and we would ask that this is completed in the "additional information" section when you register with us. We may call you to discuss further. With exams, there may be need for a RA (Reasonable Adjustment). We have attached some information from LAMDA on RA's here

How do I contact you?

We have an online platform via GoKollab which is a private community group for your childs class. It is the best way to communicate with us with all things class related. For admin and payment queries you should email [email protected].

What if my child misses a lesson?

As we often work on performances, presentations and exams, attendance is VERY important and we would always appreciate notice for absence. We do realise (as working parents ourselves) that things do pop up from time to time and family events are priority. If you could always notify us of absence via GoKollab, it helps us to plan the class and rehearsals around absences.
